TraqLab Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how TRAQLAB (“TRAQLAB,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and discloses your personal information when you visit, use our services, or make a purchase from traqlab.com (the “Site”), visit our facility, or otherwise communicate with us (collectively, the “Services”). “You” means any user of the Services, whether a customer, website visitor, or another individual whose information we process.

By using the Services, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time for operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. We will post the revised policy on the Site and update the “Last updated” date. Where required by law, we will provide additional notice.

HOW WE COLLECT PERSONAL INFORMATION
We collect information about you in three ways: directly from you, automatically through your use of the Services, and from third parties.

INFORMATION YOU PROVIDE DIRECTLY
Contact details such as name, billing and shipping address, email, and phone.

INFORMATION FROM THIRD PARTIES
Commerce platform and hosting (for example, Shopify).  
Payment processors that handle card or bank data and provide payment confirmations; we do not store full card numbers.  
Fulfillment, shipping, IT, booking, analytics, and marketing service providers.  
Advertising partners that help deliver or measure ads.  
In-store systems such as CCTV for safety and loss prevention.

HOW WE USE PERSONAL INFORMATION
We use your information to provide and improve the Services, process orders and bookings, ship products, manage accounts, enable returns and exchanges, provide support, and personalize content.  
We communicate with you about orders, bookings, updates, and support inquiries.

We may disclose information at your direction or with your consent, such as through social logins or public testimonials.

IN-STORE NOTICE (CCTV AND EVENTS)
For safety, loss prevention, and incident investigation, our facility may use CCTV that captures video when you visit. We may also request consent to use photos or video from events for marketing; you can decline without affecting your ability to purchase or book.

INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS
We and our providers may process information outside your country. If we transfer personal information out of Europe or the UK, we rely on lawful transfer mechanisms such as Standard Contractual Clauses unless the destination has an adequacy decision.

SECURITY
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information. No method is 100% secure, and transmissions may not be secure in transit. Please use secure channels for sensitive communications where possible.

RETENTION
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described here, including to operate the Services, comply with legal or tax obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and protect against fraud and chargebacks.

US STATE NOTICES (e.g., CA, CO, CT, VA): We do not sell personal information. We may engage in targeted advertising. You may opt out of targeted advertising by contacting us.  
CANADA (PIPEDA/Alberta PIPA): You have rights to access and correct your information and can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta.  
EEA/UK: You may object to processing based on legitimate interests and lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

We may need to verify your identity using your email or order details. You may designate an authorized agent where applicable.  
You can unsubscribe from promotional emails via the link in those emails, though we may still send transactional messages such as order updates.

THIRD-PARTY LINKS AND SERVICES
Our Site may link to third-party sites or services. Their practices are governed by their own policies. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

CHILDREN’S DATA
The Services are not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it where required.
