ABOUT THE AVIATION CAMP

The TraqLab Aviation Camp is a structured 16-hour, airline-style flight training experience designed for youth, teens, adults, and student pilots. Training is delivered in a high-fidelity Boeing 737 MAX simulator, using real pilot procedures and techniques.

The program is broken down into four (4) training stages of 4 hours each, allowing students to progress from foundational flying to advanced scenarios at a comfortable pace.
 

Participants learn core flying skills, cockpit operations, navigation, emergency handling, and night and weather operations. The program is divided into four structured stages. Each stage can be completed independently based on the participant’s experience level.

TRAINING STRUCTURE (4 STAGES)

  • Each stage consists of four one-hour sessions.

  • Participants may complete the full four-stage camp or enroll in any stage independently based on prior knowledge or experience.

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE

  • Hands-On Jet Flying: Manual control of a Boeing 737 MAX from the first session.

  • Glass Cockpit Navigation: Learn FMC route entry, LNAV/VNAV usage, and automation modes.

  • Night and Weather Operations: Experience turbulence, radar interpretation, night landings, and reduced-visibility scenarios.

  • Emergency Scenarios: Practice V1 engine failures, system malfunctions, and problem-solving under pressure.

  • Professional Pilot Techniques: Learn PFD scan discipline, Control/Performance method, pitch-power flying, and IFR concepts.

  • Flexible Scheduling

  • Sessions can be booked individually based on each stage.

Stage 1-Foundational Control & Cockpit Systems - 4 hours

Focus: 

Introduction to the B737 cockpit, the Primary Flight Display (PFD), and basic hand-flying skills.

Goal: 

Build confidence in controlling a large jet using the PFD and understand how pitch, power, and trim work in the B737
